It's January 22, 2023. My sister has traveled from NC, as my mom and I now live in VA. Mom's first appointment is tomorrow. We are all excited and nervous as we are not sure what to expect. This is all new to us as the treatment location is not your typical hospital type building. The location is called Anderson Integrative Medicine. From their website, it has a very relaxed home like atmosphere. We are very hopeful as my sister has done lots of research on the success of high dose vitamin C being intravenously administered. Unlike chemotherapy, which attacks both the healthy and the cancer cells, the vitamin C only attacks the cancer cells. Take that cancer cells! Therefore, there will not be any of the horrible side effects from these treatments like nausea, tiredness, hair loss, etc. In fact, most patients gain energy from the treatments. Before we head off to bed, we HAVE to get a game of Mexican Train Dominoes played as it is our newest favorite family game.
