Today is February 22, 2023, mom's 69th birthday and treatment day #10!
So the sweet nurses at Anderson Integrated Medicine, where mom's treatments are administered, surprised mom with live tulips and a sweet card and balloon for her birthday. The staff there is wonderful, to say the least. Same issues as the other days with her blood pressure being 175/100 when she arrived and even after the treatment it was right at the same. So another long 2 1/2 hour treatment. Friday we have a busy day of appointments to her PCP, LabCorp, Anderson, and the Oncologist's office. I will be mom's personal Uber for the day. 😋 We need to discuss the issues with her blood pressure with the PCP and get more blood work done at LabCorp. We are finally doing the Myer's Cocktail treatment to boost her energy at Anderson and then rounding out the day at the Oncologist's office to drop off paperwork to get approved for FMLA leave for me at my job so I have more flexibility when I need to take off to get mom to her treatments. I am praying that something will change soon as I feel I am telling the same story almost each day of the blog. I know it is all still early in the treatments and that things will not happen overnight, but I am ready to see some results. We need good news for a change. I thank you all for praying and following mom's journey. God bless.
Happy Birthday ❤️
