Got Sneakers?

As you all know from my previous posts, the expense for mom's treatments are all out-of-pocket. Her insurance does not cover any of the treatments, only the blood tests, CT scans, and the visits to the oncologist are covered. Just one of her treatments average about $300 and she has two treatments per week. So obviously this adds up quickly. We have already received several donations and thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts that donated. Those donations have already been put to good use. I have gotten in touch with the GotSneaker.com for fundraising. How it works... Basically I collect used sneakers that you are looking to throw away or donate. GotSneakers will contribute money to mom's fundraising fund for each pair received. They then will either repair or recycle them. So the shoes that meet the US standards for reuse will be distributed within the US and the shoes that are not at the US standards will be sent globally to be distributed to countries in need. The shoes that are not repairable for reuse will get recycled to help keep our landfills from filling up with unwanted footwear. So really donating to mom's sneaker drive will help us with her treatments and help the environment. WIN WIN 😊 So I am asking for everyone to gather up those unwanted sneakers and get intouch with me and I will help coordinate a time and place to pick them up. You can reach out to me through facebook or you can use the contact us on the blog. I thank you for your continued prayers and for following her journey. God bless.
